Weddings are not cookie-cutter events. Of course, you can always find inspiration from brides who came before you, but you want this day to reflect you and your significant other. For the next few weeks, we are going to offer some tips for making your day your own. Our first tip is one you’ve heard before, but it is probably the ultimate way to really share what you are about: write your own vows. When you take away the gown, cake and flowers, this day is ultimately about you making a commitment to be with a person for the rest of your life. Let that person know what is in your heart by taking some time to prepare and express your commitment in an intimate way.
