The romance and history of Florence brought Sarah Kucklick to the divine city while the chance meeting of Martino Strozza kept her coming back. With the help of modern technology and frequent flier miles, Sarah and Martino were able to maintain their long distance relationship until Martino was able to make the move to California. One evening at their home, Martino presented Sarah with a box in the shape of the Duomo Cathedral in Florence where the couple met. He then said, “Here in the house where we start our life together, I want to ask you to be my wife.” A fusion of California chic and Italian elegance fashioned a stunning wedding celebration.
