{Their Love Story}
There seems to be a theme song for every milestone in Lauren and Robert’s relationship. A mariachi trio played the Gipsy Kings when Robert, a sales director for a software company, proposed to Lauren, an advertising account manager, in Cancun, Mexico. For their reception, the band that played the couple’s anthem “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. She’s ‘small town girl’ from Fresno, CA, and he’s a ‘city boy, born and raised in south Detroit.’ In fact, Robert had all his friends from Detroit flood the dance floor when the song played, which inspired more guests to do the same.
