Though Veronica’s maid of honor brought Veronica and Corey together, it wasn’t an instant connection for her. Corey’s persistence, however, won her heart and her hand. A key design element of their wedding day was the monarch butterfly, which was inspired by and symbolic of Veronica’s beloved brother, Erick. The recitations of their personal wedding vows and the release of the butterflies have become fond memories for this couple.

Business became pleasure when Claudia and Steven, an agent and a producer at an ad agency, finally had their first date. Claudia and Steven had known one another for a decade. She knew he was special because she had butterflies in her stomach on every occasion in which they met. It was Steven who had butterflies when the couple was vacationing in Maine, a special place for the pair. Surrounded by the stillness of the trees, while hiking on Mount Battie, Steven suddenly dropped to his knee and asked if Claudia would be his wife.
