We are so excited to be launching CeremonyBlog.com that we’d like to share the love with some special engaged couples by giving away ten copies of Ceremony Magazine!  It’s as easy as making a comment on this post. The first few people to make a comment will each get one copy of their choice. Just let us know which of the four editions; Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego or San Francisco you would like to receive and why, and it’s YOURS! All we ask is that you are engaged to be married.

LOVE STORY

Laura and Patrick dated for seven years, traversing through college and their post-academia years together. From finals to job interviews to settling down, they stuck by each other through each phase of life. However, once Patrick proposed to Laura, they decided not to wait any longer. With little time to spare, they planned a sophisticated coastal wedding in two months. Their mantra became “don’t sweat the small stuff,” and by the time Laura walked down the aisle, they both knew this new chapter would be the very best.

LOVE NOTE

Snowy white orchids dripped along the ceremony path at this elegant beachside nuptial.

LOVE STORY

It was love on the metro. Crystal and Sandy both worked in the same downtown Los Angeles office building. Since they both lived in Orange County, they would make their way to work on the train every morning. Crystal, a stunning brunette, caught Sandy’s eye, and seeing her on the metro each and everyday (and in his building) became something he truly looked forward to. One special day, as they shared an elevator ride, he finally spoke to this lovely girl. This time, they weren’t just smiling at each other on the railway, but riding side-by-side.

LOVE NOTE

Ombre bridesmaid dresses complemented the bride’s pink petticoat bringing a sense of whimsy to this stylish affair.

LOVE STORY

Although they met on Halloween, it would be on the eve of Christmas when Isaac would take Daniela to the top of the Hyatt for a holiday cocktail. Little did she know he had arranged a momentous table for her with flowers, chocolates, champagne and a special question that would change their lives forever.

LOVE NOTE

His extravagant white bow tie coupled with her exquisite wedding gown made this black tie nuptial, an evening of undeniable sophistication.

LOVE STORY

Katie and Dayne went to the same high school but didn’t really meet until two years after graduation at a New Year’s Eve party. They talked the entire night and as the crowd counted down to the New Year and the clock struck 12, Katie and Dayne shared their very first kiss.  2 years later, on a family vacation in Hawaii, the pair would hike up Diamond Head where Dayne would present her with her very own stone!

LOVE NOTE

An English garden ambiance enveloped the décor with vibrant garden roses and centerpieces. The lace detailed cake, adorned with peonies was a definite showpiece.

LOVE STORY

Both Todd and Sara are fourth generation San Franciscans. Todd, therefore, is a fiercely loyal SF Giants fan. Sara, by association, is one as well. So it was only fitting that he proposed at a very beautiful moment: when the SF Giants nabbed the World Series on November 1, 2010.

LOVE NOTE

The couple’s personalities were brought to life with their darling dog joining them down the aisle and Lou Seal, the Giant’s Mascot, making a well-deserved appearance.
