A Garden Gala



This past summer, Ceremony Magazine hosted a quaint garden party for San Diego’s finest wedding coordinators. Chef Scotty Wagner of ChileCo Catering, SoCal’s premier green caterer, artistically crafted a sumptuous 5-course meal that had these illustrious guests oohing and aahing all evening. The cocktail hour kicked off with a luscious libation that Chef Scotty invented especially for the occasion. This special concoction of a kiwi-melon martini wholly complemented the tray-passed appetizers leaving guests’ palates tantalized and eager for more. The entire meal followed Chef Scotty’s philosophy of utilizing locally and organically grown produce, sustainable fishing and aquaculture, naturally raised livestock and poultry and artisan crafted kitchen staples. Throughout this pleasurable dining experience, plates were paired with Semler Cabernet Sauvignon from Malibu Family Estate and Winemaker’s Reserve Chardonnay by Callaway Vineyard and Winery. These fabulous wedding consultants relished the opportunity to enjoy an event that was planned by someone other than themselves! The warm, relaxing vibe of the party along with the witty conversation made it a night to be remembered.
