LOVE STORY
During the Thanksgiving weekend, Roxanne, Michael, and their family visited Napa Valley and went wine tasting overlooking a beautiful vineyard. When the last bottle of wine came out the waiter brought it over to Roxanne and placed it in her hands.  She looked down at the label, read it a few times, and realized that it read, “Roxanne, will you marry me?”

LOVE STORY
Jason’s marriage proposal was a complete surprise for Kelly. As she returned home from an afternoon of studying, she saw Jason dressed in a suit and rose petals lining a path from the front door to where he was standing, waiting for Kelly with a diamond ring.

LOVE STORY
Angela and Jason met while attending the University of California. Their friendship grew as the two flirted with the idea of going out while learning how to surf and studying the history of San Diego. It was not until years later that they shared their first date, eating a deep-dish pizza at The Spot and watching an independent British film.

From the photographer:
There’s something so intimate about being alone, together in a vast, open space. Joshua Tree National Park in March is absolutely stunning and just cool enough to bear late afternoons in the sprawling desert. The three of us drove along the quiet, single lane stretch of road in the Park to a secluded and scenic spot about five miles in to the preserve. With the sunlight dwindling, we shot with film first and digital into the sunset. Their session fell on their third anniversary and in their three years together they’ve traveled to Australia, Thailand, and Cancun. With their wedding to take place in Texas, we opted for the desert to compliment some of the large landscape of the Lone Star state. I’ve known Nicole a long time, and dancing with Ryan in the desert is the perfect epitome of their relationship – carefree, romantic, and a little wild at heart!
