Karen Chittenden and Andy Fathollahi’s fortuitous meeting occurred when Karen, who was a server at the time, spilled a glass of water on her guest, Andy! His proposal of marriage to Karen in the middle of Union Square led to a gem of a wedding that was accented with rich jewel-toned floral arrangements and decór. The love, joy and humor of their friends and family made it a special day for the couple. Karen and Andy not only are married to one another, they also work together at Incipio Technologies.

Sandra Geiger and Bruce Richardson were brought together at the engagement party of mutual friends in New York City where Sandra’s thoughtful gesture of offering Bruce a slice of German Chocolate Cake (his favorite) brought them together. The Seattle based attorneys incorporated Sandra’s love of the hues of crimson, champagne and mint, and Bruce’s love of German Chocolate Cake into their wedding. They fondly recall after jumping the broom walking down the aisle to the song “Magic Touch” by Mary J. Blige and Robin Thicke.

The celebration of Rachell Gregory and Travis Vasquez’s marriage was pure sunshine all around! Since they were engaged beneath the warm California sun, it only seemed fitting that they marry there too. While the lemon colored decór brought warmth and positivity to the event, it was the couple’s rendition of the tango from Scent of a Woman that really “wowed” the crowd.

Sarah Devereaux and John Engle were college sweethearts who met over breakfast on their first day of school their freshmen year. This kind-hearted couple sought to stick to the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle for their wedding. Potted succulents were used in place of cut flowers, then given as favors and invitations were sent out and RSVP’d strictly online! Sarah and John gave themselves a wedding gift to be treasured for years to come; the love of Bessie Lu and Tinker Belle, the dogs they rescued from the animal shelter.

Kristin & Eric featured in 2010 Los Angeles Ceremony Magazine

The wedding of Kristin Myers and Eric Harvey was woven with elements of their heritage and passions. Although they are both from different places originally, Kristin and Eric chose Pasadena as the location for their nuptials because it is the place in which they met. Roses played a significant role in their decór theme. The Rennie Mackintosh Rose on the stationery hearkens to Eric’s Scottish heritage while Rose is also Kristin’s middle name. Of course, we can’t forget that the rose is an important symbol of the city of Pasadena itself.  Their passion for literature named their reception tables. What beautiful ways to make their wedding their own!

Ledena Veloria and Chris Cayetano’s vivaciousness and energy shone through their joyous celebration. Music was at the center of the festivities, starting with the string quartet playing only contemporary music. Ledena walked down the aisle to November Rain by Guns N’ Roses. A steel drum band, a lounge dj and Wayne Foster Entertainment kept guests and the couple bouncing from dinner through to the midnight snack.

Timing was the key to Pernel Morgan and Aaron Martin’s meeting. Although they had been serving in the same high school ministry for over a year, they had not met. When they did finally cross paths, they knew it was meant to be. Their “lemon and lace” inspired decór kept the mood sunny and joyous. The crowd was wooed by the couple’s swing dance talent as well!
