LOVE STORY
Although Alexandra and Dave met during their freshman year physics course, injuries caused by the snowy Maine weather eventually brought them together. While both in physical therapy, there was no avoiding one another and they slowly became friends. A romance quickly blossomed and Alexandra and Dave spent the next six years surviving long distance until they finally settled into their Nashville, Tennessee life together.

LOVE NOTE
Since she was little, Alexandra had always dreamed on an outdoor, California wedding imbued with casual elegance and hacienda influence that melded into the gorgeous natural setting. Dreams do come true!

LOVE STORY
Sarah and Young first met during their college years at UC San Diego, but were nothing more than just acquaintances. That is until a few year later when they both wound up in the San Francisco area. A friendship quickly blossomed into a special relationship, and they have been by each other’s side ever since.

LOVE NOTE
Simply elegant arrangements of white hydrangea and baby’s breath complemented the modern styling of this chic affair.

LOVE STORY
This Southern California surfer boy first laid eyes upon our niece and nanny, a small-town farm girl from Illinois, while both were studying for their college exams at a local Barnes & Noble. He knew immediately that there would be more study dates in their future. He couldn’t have imagined, however, that five years later he would be marrying her amongst the very evergreens that she had planted with her father and cousin when she was a young girl. Friends and family labored for months preparing the farm for the special event: a corn field was cleared; truckloads of mulch artfully laid; a trellis and dance floor built; twinkling lights strung; wooden signs carefully carved and painted; abundant plants and fountains placed, A massive white tent, rentals, a canoe for drinks and even restrooms brought in; and finally a parking lot masterfully constructed. On the big day, the bar was set, a cheese vignette crafted, hay bail seating placed, cocktails handmade, hair styles fashioned, floral arrangements sculpted, images beautifully captured – all by the artful and tireless hands of dozens of family and friends. It was a scene of community, kindness and togetherness; the exact characteristics of Sam and Matt, a service dog trainer and an Air Force recruiter. Welcome to our family, Matt. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.- Amy and Jim

LOVE NOTE
The record cold summer day was filled with the warmth of Matt’s happy tears, the laughter from the clever toasts, and the joy of Sam on “the most fun day of her life. A guest favorite was the pie bar, chosen by Sam as a fond memory of her late grandmother.
