First of all, great choice on the gown! Love the detailing on the strap! That being said, I think it is a huge risk to order such an important piece of clothing online. The pay off, though, is in the price point. J. Crew does have a 60 day return policy on their gowns. Also, they are now offering a preview of select samples at the following locations: Lenox Square in Atlanta, The Grove in Los Angeles, North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, University Village in Seattle, The Mall at Short Hills in New Jersey, Prince Street in New York City, Georgetown in Washington, DC, and The Atrium in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
If you choose to order online, you must go into this experience with your eyes wide open. You will get a decent price, but you will be giving up the customer service you receive in working with a bridal salon.
